Which Moroccan airports have flights to Saudi Arabia?
More than Casablanca alone. That national picture is the starting point of this notebook, built only from figures published by ONDA (Morocco's national airports office), the airlines and the press.
For Hajj 2026, ONDA (Morocco's airports authority) counted 91 outbound flights from 9 Moroccan airports to Madinah and Jeddah, operated by Royal Air Maroc and Saudi airlines1. For Ramadan Umrah in 2023, Royal Air Maroc announced departures from 7 cities: Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Oujda, Fez, Marrakech and Agadir2.

Who is this notebook for?
For first-time pilgrims travelling from Morocco, for Moroccans abroad who fly out with their families, and very often for the son or daughter who books the tickets and wonders how a parent will manage the walking and the heat.
We write in short sentences with tables, and we explain Moroccan institutions in plain words. Whenever a decision depends on someone's health, we point you to a doctor.
What will you not find here?
We do not explain the rituals or quote religious texts: for questions of religious practice, please ask an imam or a scholar you trust. We do not compare agency prices, and we never press you to book before you are ready.
To confirm before you leave
We do not yet know how many direct flights will leave Morocco during Ramadan 2027: according to the Royal Air Maroc website, the airline sells Casablanca–Jeddah and Casablanca–Madinah flights, but its Ramadan 2027 schedule is not known4. We will update the notebook once airlines publish their programmes.
